County center, create 320 jobs

Global company to
invest $391,500 to support growing business

 

COLUMBIA, S.C.iQor US,
Inc.
, a global provider of business process outsourcing and product support
services, is expanding its Dorchester
County call center to
support growing business initiatives. The $391,500 investment is expected to
create more than 320 new jobs.

At the completion of the expansion expected
for the end of the year, the company’s 42,000-square-foot Center
of Excellence, located at 8440 Dorchester Road
in North Charleston,
will employ more than 700 people. iQor currently employs more than 32,000
associates in 17 countries.

The
company partners with global brands to deliver aftermarket product and customer
support solutions that span the consumer value chain, from customer care and
receivables management to product diagnostics and repair services.

Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved a $50,000 set aside grant
for real property improvements related to the project.
