in Dorchester County

St.
George, SC, June 20, 2017

at the Ridgeville Industrial Campus to help recruit industrial manufacturing
businesses, including Sundaram-Clayton Limited, to the county.

Reactions

“I have long
supported public policy that encourages the private sector to foster infrastructure
improvements like these. A community’s economic health depends in large part on
the involvement and support of the private sector to help drive job growth.” –
state Sen. John Matthews

“When the
business community works in cooperation with government to help attract new
businesses and new jobs to a community, it benefits everyone, beginning with
local citizens. This announcement is excellent news for Dorchester County.” –
state Rep. Patsy Knight

“We appreciate
the support of AT&T, as well as our other community partners, in helping
get the vital infrastructure in place to attract quality employers and jobs to
Dorchester County. Thanks to those efforts, and the dedicated work of our
Council and Staff, I’m sure this will be the first of many projects to come in
the Ridgeville Industrial Campus” –Dorchester County Council Chairman Jay Byars

“We are pleased to
support economic development efforts in Dorchester County, which help build an
even stronger, more diversified economy here in the Low Country.” – Jack
Mitchell, regional director of External affairs for AT&T South Carolina.
