In partnership with Trident Technical College and the South Carolina Department of Commerce, Dorchester County Economic Development recently facilitated the county’s first ManuFirstSC training program of 2020. Twenty county residents completed the 62-hour course learning general manufacturing skills as well as OSHA safety training. More than 80 companies have agreed to accept this certification in lieu of their one-year experience requirement.
