Innovative
Machining Technology to open manufacturing facility

in
Dorchester County

$7.8
million investment expected to create 34 new jobs

COLUMBIA, S.C.Innovative Machining Technology, Inc. (IMT), a
global supplier of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) components for the
power generation industry, is opening a new manufacturing facility in
Dorchester County. The $7.8 million investment is expected to create 45 new
jobs.

In 1988, IMT established its
corporate presence in Pennsylvania. Today the company has three facilities in
two states including the newest facility opening in Dorchester County. The
37,000-square-foot facility, located at 245 Deming Way in Summerville, will
manufacture components for power generation equipment, including gas
turbines, as well as nuclear and hydrogen generators that are in service
around the globe.

 The new facility is expected to be operational in early 2015 with plans
to begin hiring new associates in late 2014. readySC will be assisting with

 The Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved job
development credits for the project.
