Indian Ambassador Visits Sundaram Clayton

Dorchester County was honored to have His Excellency Harsh Vardhan Shringla, Indian Ambassador to the United States, and Dr. Swati Kulkarni, Consul General, visit Sundaram Clayton’s Ridgeville facility. Part of global giant TVS Group, the company is India’s largest automotive parts maker and supplier to North Charleston’s Cummings Inc. The $90 million plant, the company’s only U.S. facility, is expected to employ 230 within the first five years with potential to grow up to 500 employees upon completion of the final phase of their build-out.
