Dorchester County’s most recent class of ManuFirst SC graduates celebrated their achievements and met potential employers on March 31 at the Trident Technical College Dorchester Campus.

Graduates participated in a commencement ceremony, then enjoyed breakfast and coffee, sponsored by the Summerville Chamber of Commerce and Coastal Coffee Roasters. After the festivities, they had an exclusive opportunity to meet with nine potential employers before the talent fair opened to the public. Several workforce development organizations were also on hand to provide their services to the ManuFirst SC graduates and job seekers.

The Winter 2022 session of ManuFirst SC was made possible by a partnership between Dorchester County Economic Development, SC Works, DEW and Dorchester County Adult Education. Completing the ManuFirst SC program enables graduates to learn, and gain certification in, the production processes and procedures necessary to qualify for manufacturing jobs in this area.
