July 8, 2009 – The South Carolina Department
of Commerce and Dorchester County
today announced that Metalworx
Inc. will locate its new facility in
Dorchester County. The $2.3 million investment is expected to generate 25
new jobs over the next five years.

The company
will expand its operations
in Dorchester County
with a new facility that will allow it to
streamline processes
and add capabilities. Metalworx Inc.’s
new facility will be about 24,000
square feet and be located
next to its production plant in Summerville. The company has
been recognized as one
of the fastest-growing companies
in the state for the past two years.
